So what is a brand promise?
Put simply, it’s a commitment that a company makes to their customers or clients that says “we’re serious” about the service we offer. Breaking a promise should be hard to do. Therefore, a brand promise is a statement of intent and honour that a company will live by and ultimately be judged by.
Breaking a promise is a hard thing to do. It should hurt. There should be consequences too.
My three brand promises are:
All in or Not at All – this means that my energy and commitment to you and your ambitions will be 100%. If I can’t commit to this from the outset, then I will not work with you and your team. We only benefit if we are fully committed to each other.
The Work I do Adds Value or you Don’t Pay – straight forward really. If you feel that there has been no value-add with working with me, you are well within your rights to say thanks, but we’ll go spend our money elsewhere!
Telling the Kind Truth – I will always be honest with you and give you the feedback you need. Good or bad, I will not shy away from giving feedback that might smart a little, but is always offered in the spirit of education and furthering us towards your goals.
